The Sanitas Cycles Tap Root hardtail might be the little brother to our custom Root hardtail but still offers the same trail capable performance that you’ve come to expect of a modern hardtail! The Tap Root is the Titanium hardtail you’ve always dreamt about that doesn’t break the bank in the process! Equally at home on the big mountain trails, start line of your local XC race or the epic bike packing adventure of your choosing.
We designed the Tap Root hardtail to be the most versatile model in our lineup and with modern geometry in mind. Intended to be built with a 120mm suspension fork along with ample clearance for 29×2.6” tires. With sliding dropout’s standard, this provides the versatility to run the drivetrain of your choice. Gears, Single Speed, Traditional derailleur, Direct Mount derailleur, the Tap Root can do it all. Our stock geometry & size-specific T3A/2.5V straight gauge titanium tube sets delivers a lightweight and exceptionally strong frameset that is built to be nimble, comfortable, durable, and extremely fun to ride.
Frame is configured with external brake and shift cable routing along with internal dropper port routing. Cables are routed on the underside of the downtube on the front half of the frame and also on the underside chain stays for a clean overall appearance. Offered with six stock geometries to choose from. Standard satin finish with the options to choose from either brushed logos or Black or White Vinyl decals. The Tap Root can be purchased as a frame to be built using the components of your choosing or offered as a complete bike with a mechanical drivetrain from SRAM or Shimano.
Each frame is meticulously built by hand in beautiful Durango Colorado!
